The gesture of life

If the first floor space is the primary part of the building entry, then it is to represent both the most representative perceptual output of the whole building system. So the state of the whole living room is wild open and free feeling. The sunlight will fill the room unrestrainedly, while the sea breeze sways the coconut trees and becomes part of the space. At the same time, we have replaced the kitchen and dining space originally set on the first floor to the negative floor, while the original space is subdivided into the functions of Seniors room, workers room, and guest room. It is undoubtedly a calm and moderately open state. Therefore, it not only ensures the reception of guests, but also ensures the convenience and comfort of the elderly, workers and guests.

以一層空間為基準。我們將樓上的空間界定為更加安靜與私密的靜態空間。二樓作為兒女及晚輩的主要生活空間，被劃分為了三間臥房。因為沒有了大量且長期的儲藏需求，所以我們給予了每個空間更大的尺度關系，讓其體驗感受得以更加舒展與放松。

Take the first floor space as a benchmark. We defined the upstairs space as a more quiet and private static space. The second floor is divided into three bedrooms as the main living space for the children and the younger generation. Since there is no large amount of long-term storage needs, we gave each space a larger scale of relationship, allowing the experience to be more spacious and relaxing. 

而三層空間則被設定為了更為私密的專屬私享空間。作為主人用房，我們將所需的所有功能都融合在了一個大環境之中。

And the third floor space is set up as a more private and exclusive private space. As the master's room, we have integrated all the required functions into one big environment. 

陽光與海風

Sunshine and sea breeze

家，是心靈與肉體的最好歸處。第二居所，則更應如此。它應將更大尺度的滿足業主“自我”的訴求，和私享的狀態。因為，歷經戎馬半生，應有陽光的護佑，和海風的輕揉。

Home is the best place for the soul and body. The second home should be even more so. It should meet the owner's demand of "self" and the state of private enjoyment on a larger scale. Because, the hard work for life, should be the blessing of the sun, and gentle breeze from the sea.
